INTRODUCTION

Role of calcium, iron and phosphorus in growth :

These three elements are widely distributed in our cells, bones, and are of vital importance for the formation of new cells of bone, bone marrow and haemoglobin. Iron influences not only blood and blood vessels but also fibrous tissues of muscles, joints, gastro-intestinal tract and endocrine glands. Phosphorus and its salts have functional, nutritional and constructual role in brain, nervous cells and whole of nervous system. Together, they play a vital role in the growth of children. Essentia Infantia has a balanced formulation, which stimulates the absorption of calcium, iron and phosphorus. This way it helps to improve the absorption of these minerals and to some extent supplements them in the case of deficient dietary habits as well as in the case of metobolic problems. It also helps in regulating the digestive system.

Composition:

Each tablet of 250 mg contains:

Calcarea phosphorica 3x 125mg

Ferrum phophoricum 3x 125mg

Proven indications of the individual ingredients in the sphere of claimed action:

Calcarea phosphorica : It is indicated for tardy dentition troubles incident to that period and promotes growth of healthy bones. It has a remedial effect on anaemic children who are peevish with feeble digestion, by regulating their metabolism. It covers mild headache with abdominal flatulence in children, mild inflammation of tonsils, colic or soreness around navel and diarrhoea normally green, shiny with undigested materials in stool.

Ferrum phosphoricum : It is indicated to improve haemoglobin content, arrest wasting, weakness, febrile or non febrile inflammatory conditions. It promotes growth, health and happiness in children.

Combination of the above two drugs makes it essential for tissue growth in anaemic, scrofulous, leptosomatic, rachitic, neurasthenic children suffering from emaciation.

Dosage : Unless otherwise prescribed by the physician, 1 to 2 tablets to be given 4-6 times a day. If complaints are not relieved, consult a specialist.
