Verbena hastata MT

Verbena hastata MT is used as a febrifuge, chronic fevers, against Rhus poisoning, as tonic, expectorant etc., for sedative purposes. Homoeopathically, it is used in ague, rhus poisoning, chronic epilepsy, insomnia, mental exhaustion and constipation. It affects skin and nervous system. It is also used in nervous depression, weakness and spasms. The results of a recent study clearly indicate that  the leaf extract of this drug possesses potent ulcer protective properties.
