Tussilago petasites MT has some action on the urinary organs, and found to be useful in gonorrhoea. It is used for affections of pylorus. Recent studies have shown that the effects of this drug are similar to those of cetirizine in patients with seasonal allergic rhinitis when evaluated blindly by patients and doctors. Its root has proved to be an effective preventive treatment for migraine.
