Kamala MT

Kamala MT is used in tapeworm. There are reports for its use in leprosy, and scrofulous conditions. In ayurveda it is used as cooling agent and appetizer. Fruit is purgative, anthelmintic, carminative, alexiteric and useful in treatment of bronchitis, abdominal diseases, spleen enlargement etc. A recent study has confirmed the use of the plant against the bacterial pathogens. Externally it is used for freckles and pustules.
