Iberis amara MT

Iberis amara MT is used in state of nervous excitement. It has a marked action upon the heart. It possesses a great efficacy in cardiac diseases. It controls the vascular excitement in hypertrophy with thickening of the heart's walls. Cardiac debility after influenza. It is also useful in case of liver region full and painful. In herbal medicine, it is used as bitter digestive tonic, relieving wind and bloating and is also traditionally taken to treat gout, rheumatism and arthritis. A study report suggests that it helps in the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome by increasing the basal resting tone and contraction of atonic ileal segments.
