Grindelia robusta MT

Grindelia robusta MT is indicated in chronic bronchial asthma and chronic spasmodic bronchial cough when they are attended with profuse, tenacious expectoration and relief from expectoration. The breath stops when the patients goes to sleep and awakes with a start, gasping for breath. This remedy is also useful in the enlargement of the spleen. Indicated symptom is tender to pressure. There are sometimes cutting pains in the region of the spleen that extend down to the hips. There is more or less ascites with anaemia present. Many of these cases are suffering from malaria and the quinine cachexia. Another remedy related to its spleen indication is Tinospora cordifolia.
