Chelidonium majus MT

Chelidonium majus MTĀ is a prominent liver remedy, covering many of the direct reflex symptoms of diseases conditions of that organ. It is used in paralytic drawing and lameness in single parts. The great general lethargy and indisposition to make any effort is most marked. It is also used in bilious complications during gestation. Alkaloids are reported to possess analgesic, antipyretic, antispasmodic, hypotensive actions. Sparteine by contract raises blood pressure. Its action to clear cataract needs (clinically established) experimental support. It is a mild sedative and bronchial muscle relaxant. Reported to be useful for gallbladder pain, improving bile flow, detoxification and in treatment of jaundice. It possesses anti-cancer and analgesic properties.
