Amygdalus amara MTĀ is used in asthma, epilepsy, syncope and urticaria. It is used in ischuria and haematuria. It is the most valuable remedy in vomiting of various kinds, in cases of morning sickness, and irritation of eyes. It is also useful in gastric irritation of children, in cases of loss of smell an taste, when the tongue is elongated and pointed, tip and edges are red. It is also useful in cases of constant nausea and vomiting. It is also used for pain in the tonsils, dark throat with difficulty in swallowing; vomiting of cough and sore chest. Reported to be beneficial as nervine tonic.
