Adonis vernalis MT

Adonis vernalis MT is a heart medicine, after rheumatism or influenza or Bright's disease, where the muscles of the heart are in stage of fatty degeneration, regulating the pulse and increasing the power of contractions of the heart, with increased urinary secretions. It is a most valuable remedy in cardiac dropsy. Low vitality, with weak heart and slow, weak pulse; hydrothorax, ascites andanasarca. It is reported to be useful in mitral and aortic regurgitation, when there is a praecordial pain with painful throbbing of the blood-vessels and headache. Literature also supports its use in fatty degenerations of the heart, pericarditis, simple hypertrophy and certain atheromatous conditions.
