Acidum citricum MT

Acidum citricum MT is reported to be useful in cases of sea scurvy and is freely employed by those who are obliged to subsist on slat meats and are to a great extent deprived of vegetable food. Chronic rheumatism especially of the hands and feet, post-partum haemorrhages are also indicated. In post-partum haemorrhages, it was used into the cavity of the womb and taken internally as well. A solution consisting of about 5 gram of Citric acid to about 250 ml of water has long been employed as a local application in the case of cancer and is said to assist in relieving the pain.
