Arsenicum iodatum CH

This remedy is indicated in chronic lung infections, hay-fever, inflammation of nasal and middle ear mucosa, hypertrophy of eustachian tube and deafness. Cardiac troubles in old people, inflammatory conditions of heart and fatty degeneration. Inflammation and induration of glands with abnormal growth of tissues and inflammation of aorta.

Nose: Acrid and watery, excoriating discharges from anterior and posterior nostrils with frequent sneezing. Inflammation of nasal mucosa with irritation and tingling of nose with constant desire to sneeze. Chronic infection of nose with profuse, thick, yellow discharges. Sores and ulcers in the nose.

Throat: Swollen and dry throat with burning sensation in the pharynx. Swollen tonsils with thick grayish membrane from throat to lips with offensive breath.

Eyes and Ears: Chronic infection of eyes with conjunctivitis and purulent discharges, inflammation of middle ear with fetid, corrosive discharge and hearing difficulties due to thickening of tympanic membrane.

Respiratory: Hacking cough, with dry and stuffed nose. Pain in the chest due to inflammation of pleural membrane and collection of fluid in the pleural cavity. Chronic lung infection and inflammation of bronchi with dry cough, loss of voice and difficult expectoration.

Skin: Itching eruptions with dry, scaly exfoliation of skin leaving a raw surface with exudations. Enlarged glands, pimples, and eczematous eruptions of the beard with watery discharges. Pimply eruptions with pus at the tips.
