ALPHA  - DP 

INTRODUCTION 

Digestive problems including indigestion are common with complex causative factors. Any disturbance due to irregularity in diet, over-eating, or eating of unsuitable foods may result in gastro intestinal disorders resulting in nausea and vomiting as a natural act of rejection or diarrhoea for excretion of the unwanted materials. In the process, however, the whole digestive function gets disrupted, resulting in bloating of stomach, acid or sour eructations, pain, gastro-intestinal discomfort and increased bowel movement. Alpha -DP comprehensively takes care of these problems. 

Composition: 

Each tablet of 250 mg contains: 

Arsenicum album 12x 25 mg

Croton tiglium 6x 25 mg

Okoubaka 2x 25 mg

Veratrum album 12x 25 mg

Carbo vegetabilis 6x 25 mg

Excipients Q.S. to make 250 mg 

Proven indications of the individual ingredients in the sphere of claimed action: 

Arsenicum album: It is useful in digestive problems from ill effects of vegetable diet, melons, watery fruits, acids, ice cream and ice water, nausea, vomiting or dyspepsia with or without gastralgia, faintness, icy coldness and great exhaustion. It covers diarrhoea after eating or drinking. It is indicated for weakness in such cases. 

Croton tiglium: It is a valuable remedy for summer diarrhoea, copious watery stool with rumbling and pinching in the abdomen with urgent inclination, so pressing that the closet cannot be reached soon enough. Symptoms are worse by drinking the least quantity or even while eating. 

Okoubaka: It is a recently introduced remedy for indigestion as a consequence of food intolerance with gastro enteritis and food poisoning symptoms. It helps in the elimination of toxin.

Veratrum album: Useful in cholera like diarrhoea, copious vomiting and nausea. Diarrhoea is very painful, watery and forcibly evacuating. Symptoms are followed by coldness of skin, general regression of strength till collapse. Disturbance of the circulation and muscle cramps in the legs are effectively covered. Craves fruit, juicy, cold things and ice, but is vomited as soon as swallowed. 

Carbo vegetabilis: Used in indigestion, lowered vital power from loss of fluids, state of collapse in cholera, frequent involuntary stools followed by burning, irritation after eating and drinking. Simple food distresses, belching, flatulence and abdominal discomfort are effectively taken care by this. 

Dosage : Unless otherwise prescribed by the physician, the following dose schedule is recommended. 

Adults : During the acute phase of symptoms, every hour (or every quarter of an hour) 1-2 tablets. In less acute cases and as prevention of symptoms, 3 times a day, 1-2 tablets. 

Children of 6 years and older : During the acute phase of symptoms, 1-2 tablets every hour. In less acute cases and as prevention of symptoms, 3 times daily 1-2 tablets. If complaints are not relieved, consult a specialist. 

Side effects : No side effects of Alpha -DP are known. 

Contra indications : No contra-indications for the use of Alpha -DP are known. 

Interactions : No interactions between Alpha -DP and other products are known.

Presentation : 40 tablets in blister pack of 4x10.
