Ammonium bromatum CH

Indicated in cases of chronic cough and hoarseness. Frequent headaches. Tendency to obesity. Constrictive pains. Irritability under finger nails, has to bite them for some relief.

Head: Congestion of head. Feels as if a band were tied above the head. Sneezes with thick nasal coryza.

Eyes: Lids appear red and swollen. Eyes feel large. Pain near the eyes going inwards.

Throat: Sensation of tickling in throat.Dry and spasmodic cough, especially at night. Burning in mouth. Mucus is white and sticky. Chronic throat ailments in public speakers.

Respiratory: Chocking episodes of cough that are sudden in nature. Wakes at 3 am due to cough. Suffocation when lying down.

Modalities: Better by changing position, by pressure and by sneezing. Worse by coughing, by motion, by lying down, at 3am.
