Helpful in cases of constipation and pain in abdomen. Helpful in cases where salt restriction is required. Ailments from drinking bad water, from over eating. Adapted to fleshy subjects with acidity and much mucus formation. Patients with great appetite, especially for meat, but less intake of water. Pain in the hip region. History of pulmonary tuberculosis is supportive.

Head: Head feels heavy with pulsation in temples. Difficulty in hearing from blocked ears due to much mucus.

Mouth: Excessive sweetish saliva after meals and at night. Sensation of a hair on tongue or throat.

Stomach: Increased appetite with burning eructation. Change in diet causes trouble. Constipation, with constant pain in abdomen. Tongue is pale with red papilla.

Respiratory: Constant rattling of mucus. Cough in the morning on leaving the bedroom, with tenacious mucus that is difficult to raise. Sensitive to cold air. Offensive expectoration. Pain in the chest.

Female: Pain and swelling of breasts. Eruption on breasts and near vulva during menses.
