It is especially indicated for symptoms like hay fever with acrid nasal discharge, laryngitis and excessive lachrymation. Symptoms are worse in warm room and better in open air. Pain of neural origins as in cases of amputations or nerve damages. Inflammation of nerves with irritation and pain from nerve injuries with burning sensation all over the body.

Head: Headache from inflammation of nasal mucosa and sinuses. Pains mostly in forehead which gets worse in warm room. Neuralgia of face with thread-like pains in face. Pain disappears during menses and reappears with the cessation of menses.

Eyes: Contusion of eyes with profuse lachrymation and burning in the eyelids. Intense photophobia with bland lachrymation.

Nose: Acrid and watery nasal discharges which excoriates the upper lip. Symptoms like hay fever with sneezing, on entering a warm room. Running nose with headache, cough, and hoarseness with sensation of a lump in the throat.
