Acidum aceticum CH

This remedy is indicated for wasting diseases with symptoms like anemia, dropsical conditions, great debility, frequent fainting, haemorrhages, dyspnea, weak heart, nausea and vomiting, profuse urination and sweat. It is indicated in treating albuminous and fibrinous deposits, malignant growths, nodules in the joints and for painless ulcers on genitalia.

Stomach: Increased salivation with accumulation of gas in stomach. Excessive thirst. Tenderness and burning pain in the epigastrium as of an ulcer. Vomits every kind of food with sour belching and vomiting. Stomach pain and burning sensation in the chest from increased acidity followed by coldness of skin and cold sweat on forehead.

Abdomen: Sinking sensation in the abdomen with frequent watery stools which is worse in the morning. Collection of gas with severe pain and tension in the abdomen and collection of fluids in the abdomen.

Female: Profuse menses and excessive bleeding after childbirth. Enlargement of mammary glands, distended with milk which is very thin, bluish, transparent and sour. Morning sickness of pregnancy and anemia in nursing mothers.

Respiratory: Difficulty in breathing with hoarseness and cough when inhaling. Inflammation of larynx and trachea with irritation and membranous deposits. Profuse mucus discharges with suppurating sore throat.

Skin: Skin pale and waxy with burning, dry heat or profuse sweating. Decreased sensitivity of the skin all over the body. It is useful in treating insect stings, bites, etc., varicose veins, scurvy, dropsical swellings, bruises and sprains.
